This page took much quicker than usual, I think I’m really learning some shortcuts wooo! Also here’s some very rough concept art for some much later scenes if anyone finds that interesting lol. (And yes I know I made some mistakes here XD)

In a way she is going "berserk" but that's just her no holding back personality XD. Wonder what she's going to do for her next strategy :)

Super dope concept art too. That third second one is mysterious

23rd Nov 2019, 7:32 PM Thanks! I don’t actually have a blur setting on the program I use, just a blur brush, but I’m glad it looks okay.

And yeah, while Evan goes berserk probably from repressing so many emotions, if Kat went berserk it would be from feeling so many emotions lol.

And yes, hopefully these concepts foreshadow something interesting, without spoiling too much!

19th Feb 2021, 10:14 AM There's a story on Comic Fury about a female teenage protagonist wanting to learn how to fight, and is currently being trained by a black haired Asian guy, noticeably older than she is. She utterly fails at grappling, flails like a crazed maniac, or unloads all her power into 1 shot.

OK great, which one are we talking about? (not sure whether yours has a training montage as of me writing this post).

19th Feb 2021, 10:18 AM Haha are you talking about your comic? Those are some uncanny similarities! I think at this point Kairo is more the protagonist though, and Kat is the deuteragonist, Evan’s the tritagonist, etc.

I am literally working on a training montage for the current chapter!! (○∇○)

19th Feb 2021, 6:57 PM Yes, referring to Demon Hunters' montage; I finished it sometime last month. If I were to put your story in terms familiar to me, it would be what happens if we were reading from Mr. Ren's POV instead of Cyril's. The question becomes, in your story, who will the superheroes and mutants fight? In Demon Hunters, I have a sneaking suspicion there'll be demons to fight at some point or another; can't explain why I have this feeling.

Yeah that’s a fair assessment - this origin story episode might be less about fighting than you think though - don’t get me wrong, I love action packed stories, but this story is a bit more about...preparing them to fight? There will be some fighting, but the story is about other things as well, especially sibling relationships. Once the origin story is done however, then we can move on to more of a focus on traditional superhero/shounen fights!
