Lol I hope BJ doesn’t kill me for making myself look lame compared to her XD
These doodles are dramatizations and are not meant to be taken literally except for the doodle of Tamako...and BJ.
I could done some more but I didn’t wanna overwhelm you guys with TMI. I shoulda mentioned that Evan grew up in a fictional Japanese village called Kuraitochi though. It HaS a MoNaRcHy

And no, just because it’s easier for me to write more emotional characters doesn’t mean that every character in this story is going to be super emotional—lookit Yoshi. *shudders*. It was just easier for me to make Derek someone easy to understand that way.

It's not surprising that most of us take inspiration from the people around us, but it's always fascinating to learn exactly who and why and how all those little pieces came together.

Also yeah logical characters can be harder to write haha
