12th Dec 2020, 8:00 AM Chapter 3 is almost over! Initially part 1 was just gonna be 4 chapters, but I’ve realized that I’m gonna need at least one more chapter if I wanna keep them all relatively the same length, considering all the scenes that are gonna be in part 1.

Also, I wanted to take a moment to plug my friends’ YouTube channel What we did Today. It’s a comedy channel with very random, bizarre humour which is my favourite for when I just need to take a break from thinking X’D Maybe sometime they’ll let me play in a sketch, which would be rare for the internet to see my actual face haha.
Anyways if that’s your thing, maybe check it out, give ‘em a sub!

Wow, so past heroes here really are more for publicity and show rather than taking on serious missions. That's really interesting and wonder how that'll play out for them in their case

12th Dec 2020, 10:38 PM Yeah I get ya. I think Kairo does have a hunch that Xan wants to do something bad with them, but he just doesn’t understand how that fits into his job description, so I guess he’s hoping that it’s just a weird phase.

Yeah I can’t wait to dive into that! I think I really enjoy writing about superheroes in a more realistic way but still with some awesome cartoony stuff, I mean I gotta have some fun with it too XD

Thanks so much! They were so happy to hear that when I told them this evening that some of my readers were checking them out, I love to support fellow creators and see my friends get into the action <3 and yes it’s definitely bizarre X’D I think the video they made about making cake is still one of my favourites, it was...ludicrously weird, but I think that kind of humour is kinda genius because I don’t know if I could ever come up with stuff like that.

this "glorified mascot" line reminds me of corporate superheroes, something that would make a lot of sense in a setting with superhumans and modern tech/society, but so far it's mostly Iron Man. might be something you could explore someday, who knows!

Yeah I think the superheroes in this universe are a bit different than the average comic book, It’ll definitely be fun to explore later!

19th Feb 2021, 10:20 AM They’re being trained, but they’re not full-agents yet or anything X’D To simplify things, I made it “legal” for a 16 year-old to “enlist” so to speak, similar to how it’s legal for a 16 year old to have a driver’s license here in Alberta. But Kat will be a legal adult by the time she’s actually doing superhero stuff, and Evan will be 16 by then. As of right now, Evan’s too young to be on the field.
