1st Jan 2022, 12:00 PM Happy New Year in advance!! (I’m uploading this as of November).

(Don’t worry, the montage thingy isn’t done yet, this is just a short scene within that timeframe.)

Anyways…I have some news! In December (before this page gets uploaded actually) I’ll have finally moved out!! Remember what I said at the beginning of the year about getting a job and then moving out? They really both happened, and I’m so excited!! It certainly took long, but here I am <3
I’ll be renting from a elderly neighbour of mine, who has been more than generous and kind. This move definitely equals more space and probably a lot more time for me, since I won’t be with my family all the time anymore. I just hope it’s not too quiet, haha. I’m hoping this will lead to a lot more creative growth for me though, I’m looking forward to that so much!

Thank you all so much for supporting and sticking with me through all of this, it motivates me like nothing else—I can’t wait to see what this new year will bring for S&B, And even for the webcomics community in general. Let’s all dream big and take small steps toward our goals!

Congrats on achieving them achievements! Moving out is definitely a big step, both exciting and scary. If you do get anxious moments where it feels "too quiet" and you want to talk to someone, I'm always happy to lend an ear.

1st Jan 2022, 4:33 PM I guess I was thinking that she had been shaking consistently a lot—not because she’s tired but because she’s nervous. But yeah, he’s not being the nicest. I think he’s really just frustrated with her frequent tears and getting upset.

1st Jan 2022, 8:27 PM Dang poor Kat, it's true even though she's been training for a bit now I imagine it's a huge change in pace! That 5th panel is really great from both art and character stand point

It's cool that Kat's still in touch with her emotions, im sure that can pay off in positive ways too in the future, not being a robot :) .

Also congrats on moving out!! Sounds like a lot of big changes for you, and thanks for the story too looking forward to another great year :D

Happy new year to you as well! And do you mean the context of the conversation on this page? It’s sort of in the middle of a conversation right now, but it’s supposed to imply that Kat and Kairo have been butting heads frequently over her getting too emotional, as he’d told her in the previous chapter as well. We’ll see if they can or can’t come to some kind of compromise though!

2nd Jan 2022, 12:28 AM I'm curious to see whether this is simply training pushing Kat to her limits (I've struggled to breathe before) or whether there's something else going behind Kairo's methods. Also interesting to see Kairo with tattoos if I'm seeing them right.

And yeah, Kairo has some tattoos on his chest. He doesn't usually take off his shirt though, much to my sister's dismay X'D

5th Jan 2022, 11:22 AM Oh, poor honey :'( I can relate to that feeling all too well :( Kairo needs to chill a bit and realize that these two aren't trained adults like he's probably used to dealing with, they're teenagers with volatile emotions and he needs to be more gentle :(

5th Jan 2022, 4:43 PM Argh yes, so true!! In Kairo’s defense, he was certainly not raised in a healthy way, so it’s really something of a foreign concept to him when he sees people being okay/honest with their emotions.
