2nd Jun 2019, 5:07 PMEven someone like Kairo is geeking out a little here, I mean, c’mon, who wouldn’t?
So you may notice that the force-field screentone has changed colour...I fixed the previous page too. It’s thanks to one of my readers on The Duck who taught me how to do it. Slow learning is better than no learning to.
2nd Jun 2019, 6:45 PMShe looks tired and strained from keeping it up in the middle panel, so he might be able to get through it in this demonstration after all
2nd Jun 2019, 7:22 PMYou certainly read her expression right. But he still couldn’t break it—she just can’t keep it up for too long. But I’m sure she will get stronger
3rd Jun 2019, 12:31 AMThat is awesommee :D Both effects for it look great imo. What i like about this one is it does look like traditional ‘light shield’.
12th Jun 2019, 2:34 AMIt looks like summoning that thing wore her out.
I can't wait till she gets to level 5 and is able to have electricity run through her shield like these cool little static balls :D
(Of course I'm just teasing, lol)
12th Jun 2019, 4:34 AMLooking up how they work, apparently there's a tesla coil in the middle and the ball is filled with noble gases. Neat, but I guess it won't have the same effect unless Kat's got the high voltage electrode material in her leg and is surrounded by noble gasses? It'd look so COOL though. I'd be all for it if she does! XD
12th Jun 2019, 5:02 PMYeah, I'm super insecure about doing things that don't make sense scientifically, so I try to do a bit of research and then try not to worry about it, lol
12th Jun 2019, 5:30 PMYeah I feel ya. I might do a tad of research or take inspiration from science but for sciency things I usually just don’t worry about it. XD I bet this scifi drama is one step away from being a fantasy drama at times
12th Jun 2019, 8:51 PMYou can play around with it. Sometimes research inspires better ideas. Sometimes, you throw logic to the wind and do something simply because you want to. :'D
